In this book are collected Boris Hristov’s stories – “The Blind Dog”, “The shoes’ valley”, “Deadly stains”, as well as “Memories of people, stones and fish”. The first two have been already published and showed the poet’s talent as prose writer. The last one is published for the first time.
The poet’s lyric is an event in the contemporary Bulgarian literature. Before, it was created, it was a human destiny, well suffered and well thought, which does not happen often. In Boris Hristov’s literature, which is deep confession and autobiographical, we see solely, what we call organic. It is due to the inner position, to the conscious’s exclusive responsibility to the words and life.
